There has been a great mystery ever since Jim Allen pointed out the anomalies surrounding the area at the south of lake Poopo at Pampa Aullagas. The mountain is covered with small squares of stone walls. The purpose of these walls was never made clear. The Pampa Aullagas site is quite small when compared to the city north of the Pampa. This area is covered with these small squares and I estimated that there are about 70,000 of them in the city area. Upon examination of the region in general I discovered what these small squares are. They are enclosure for houses. To the north west of the city there is smaller city that is still partly occupied. The occupied are has about 250 houses, each enclosed in a small square, or rectangle. The pattern is exactly the same as at the large city site on the shores of Lake Poopo. A small section of this city is still occupied and each square of the occupied section contains a small house. If each house has an average of five occupants then the total for the smaller city is about 35,000 people. The large city by the lake is large enough to hold at least 300,000 people.
In the image gallery above they start with the small city showing the environs and the occupied section and various shots of the unoccupied area. The standardization of the plots is indicative of there regular pattern illustrated by the still occupied section of the city. In all of the many sites we see this pattern on the hills right to the top. The larger plots appear mostly on the flat area and this represents a pattern of agriculture that is still used by the natives of the are who are mostly of Inca Empire descent. and were probably used more for agriculture as well.
The age of any of these sites is yet to be determined by any study. There no study that has shown who put terraces on the Andes Mountains. When the Spanish came they asked the Inca who put the terraces on the mountains and they said they did not know. Most of the remains of the Inca cities and construction are actually on top of the precisely cut blocks that are paraded as Inca. In fact when you look around the city of Cuzco it is said that the Spanish tore down and left little of the strangely cut blocks that we have been told are Inca. In fact the city looked much like ii is now with houses built on top of the older stone. If you view this video, just turn down the sound and look at the architecture. In the city you will see adobe houses built on top of the stone foundations. At Sacsayhuaman the bottom of the structure is made of megalithic blocks. On top of this you see progressively cruder stone work. the Inca stone work is piled on top and worked into the older structure.

The second video, while narrator is not the best the point he is trying to make is that the older stone work does not match the Inca stone work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66x9VLwZaDQ
This is supporting evidence for a vast unknown civilization that existed in the are in the distant past. There are now several cities, pyramids, vast agriculture and terra-forming on an unimaginable scale, vast canals and agriculture enough for at least twenty million people. What is being revealed via satellite is beyond anyones, including my own, estimation of what was to be found in this area. Pampa Aullagas is very tiny in comparison to what is seen in these images. It would have been occupied about five thousand people, so it does not seem likely that it was the capital city of a large kingdom. On the other hand the large city north along the shore of the lake is large enough and the general are would have had a much larger population.
More evidence is to follow and there is much food for thought here.
